Carnival Party

[ENG] This week has been a little strange. Mr. Carnestoltes said we had come with an original hairstyle o with a different shoe in each foot. And we have do it!

During these days, we have prepared our costume and the fantastic party. We have chosen a curious "soundtrack" which let us dance a lot.

[CAT] Aquesta setmana ha estat una mica estranya. El Sr. Carnestoltes va dir que havíem de venir amb un pentinat divertit o bé amb una sabata diferent a cada peu. I ho hem fet!

I com és natural, hem preparat la disfressa i la fantàstica festa. Hem escollit una "banda sonora" curiosa que ens fa dansar amb ganes.

Carnival Time

[ENG] February is known as the month we put on a custom and celebrate Carnival. So, this week we have spoken about this issue with pictures and songs.

Our custom is a surprise for you, so we are learning to sing and dance some songs in order to celebrate the Carnival on the 24th afternoon with our families. 

You will see, next week! It will be very amusing!

[CAT] El febrer és conegut com el mes que ens disfressem i celebrem el Carnaval. Per tant, aquesta setmana hem estat parlant sobre aquest tema amb l'ajuda d'imatges i cançons.

La nostra disfressa és una sorpresa per vosaltres, llavors estem aprenent a cantar i ballar algunes cançons per poder celebrar el Carnaval amb les nostres famílies el  dia 24 a la tarda.

Ho veureu la setmana que ve! Serà molt divertit!

What's the weather like today?

[ENG] Every day in our English sessions, Menuts and Súpers have a target: We have to discover the weather. All together, with an imaginary cap, we look at the sky and we decide if it is sunny or it is cloudy. Moreover, we have to say if it is hot, cold or very very cold that we need to wear a hat and a scarf  like the little snowman and, of course, a jacket to go outside.

So, this week, we have painted a happy sun with the colours we have learnt these months: red and yellow.  Besides, we will get a new colour, if we mix these two. Can you guess it?

[CAT] Cada dia a les nostres sessions d'Anglès, tant els Menuts com els Súpers, tenim un gran propòsit: Hem de descobrir el temps que fa. Tots junts, ens posem una visera imaginària, mirem cap al cel i decidim si el sol ha sortit o, el contrari, hi ha núvols. A més a més, hem de dir si fa calor, fred o moltíssim fred que necessitem gorro i bufanda com el Ninot de neu, i evidentment, una jaqueta per anar al carrer.

Per tant, aquesta setmana, hem pintat un sol molt simpàtic amb els colors que hem après durant aquests mesos: el vermell i el groc. A més a més, si barregem aquests dos colors, obtindrem un color nou. Podeu imaginar quin és?

Winter Clothes

[ENG] This week we have been speaking about the clothes we wear in winter. To learn them, we have seen some pictures, and the teacher have asked us about our own clothes, so we have shown each other the cloth asked. We enjoy it, because we have found out a lot of different colours and pictures.

We have sung songs about clothes, one of them is this rap.

[CAT] Aquesta setmana hem treballat la roba que utilitzem durant l'hivern. Per fer-ho ens hem ajudat d'unes fantàstiques imatges,  i ens hem ensenyat els uns als altres la peça de roba que la mestra ens ha preguntat. Fer-ho, és molt divertit, perquè hem descobert una gran quantitat de colors i imatges.

També, hem cantat algunes cançons sobre la roba, una d'elles és aquest rap.

Painting the Star

[ENG] During these days, our new friend, the nice Star, has had a big problem: She had lost her yellow colour. Súpers and Menuts wanted to help her because the Star was so sad. All of them found the solution quickly: Looking for all yellow colours that the teachers have in La Mainada and painting the Star with them, she will shine again. While the Star was recovering its colour, she started to smile again

[CAT] Aquests dies, la nostra simpàtica amiga, l'Estrelleta, ha tingut un gran problema: Havia perdut el seu color groc. Els Súpers i els Menuts van voler ajudar-la perquè estava molt trista. Tots, van trobar, ràpidament la solució: Buscant tots els colors grocs de La Mainada i pintant l'Estrelleta, aquesta tornaria a brillar. Mentre l'estaven pintant i ella anava recuperant el color, començava a somriure una altra vegada.

The coldest week

[ENG] This week has been the coldest of the year, but it doesn't snow. So we have to imagine a white landscape with high mountains and tall trees in order to see a fantastic snowman. Everybody likes playing if it snows, so we won't be different and we have created our own snowman. We have made it with cotton wool, it is not cold but it is funny.

The song we have learnt this week is, of course, about a friendly snowman that wears a hat and a scarf to not be cold outside. Listen to it!

[CAT] Aquesta ha estat la setmana més freda de l'any, però no ha nevat. Per tant, aquí a La Mainada ens hem imaginat un paisatge blanc amb muntanyes i arbres alts per poder trobar i veure un fantàstic ninot de neu. A tothom li encanta sortir a jugar amb la neu quan neva, i nosaltres, no serem diferents i hem creat el nostre propi ninot de neu. Aquest, està fet de cotó fluix, que encara que no sigui fred ha estat divertit fer-lo.

La cançó d'aquesta setmana, tracta, evidentment, sobre un simpàtic ninot de neu que porta gorro i bufanda per no tenir fred. Escolteu-la!

I am a little snowman Song

New Term

[ENG] After holidays, we have started a new term with new songs and vocabulary, and of course, we have known a new friend: A YELLOW STAR

This first week we have been speaking about winter and the weather in this season which is very very cold, so we need to wear specific clothes like gloves or scarf.

Furthermore, the Yellow Monster is in the class, so we have discovered yellow objects in the class and in a lot of pictures.

Now, we can find red and yellow things at home or in the street like the children in the songs below do.

[CAT] Després de les vacances, hem començat nou trimestre amb noves cançons i nou vocabulari, i evidentment, una nova amiga ha vingut per ensenyar-nos moltes coses: L'ESTRELLA GROGA.

Aquesta primera setmana, hem estat parlant sobre l'hivern i el temps tant gèlid que és necessari portar guants o bufanda.

A més a més, com que el Monstre de color groc és a la classe, hem buscat tota mena d'objectes d'aquest color, tant a la classe com en fotografies.

Ara, ja podem trobar coses vermelles i grogues a casa o al carrer, tal i com els nens de les cançons de l'enllaç fan.
